Donna Jean Redford Glenn, 88, passed away on May 4, 2013 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden. She was born on July 9, 1924 in Hyrum, Utah, the third child of Albert Dell and Mable Anderson Redford. Brothers Albert Mont Redford, Ivan Dell Redford and Wendell Marion Redford passed away before her.
She married Verl L. Glenn on November 18, 1941. Verl passed away on September 23, 1989. They lived in Sunset and Nibley. Donna moved to South Ogden after the death of her husband and later Riverdale to be close to her sisters and other family members.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in California after she retired from a government career, working at Ogden Defense Depot and Hill Air Force Base. She was also a trained member of CERTS (Civilian Emergency Rescue organization. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Donna is survived by her son Michael Glenn and his wife Jeanne Glenn of Coupeville, Washington; grandchildren, Jennifer Bode, Amelia Gilman, Michelle Smith, and Wade Glenn; step-grandchildren, Terri Skeie and Dan Harris; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters LaVerne McQuarrie and Lola McFerson.
