William Jefferson Maynor, oldest child of Marshall Wilborn and Susannah Swittenberg Maynor, married Marietta C. White on 14 December 1887, and they had three children: Cora Ethel, Alma S., and Ruby S. He later left Marietta and married Lilly Carr. He was married to Lilly at the time of his death in Jackson in 1936 but is buried beside Marietta in Brookhaven.
