E.T."Honey" Genovese Campbell passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Rick Campbell.

Loving mother of Theresaann Campo Rhodes and husband Kenny, Gabriel V. Campo and wife Karen, Thomas Campbell and wife Janice, Nina Johnson and husband Ronnie.

Daughter of the late Nicholas and Elma Verrett Genovese.

Sister of Nicholas and Maureen Genovese.

Proud grandmother of Jennifer and Amanda Rhodes, Chelsea and Gabrielle Campo, Devin and Danielle Lewis, Steven and Matthew Campbell and Victoria Johnson.

Also survived by 13 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved Shih Tzu, Boots.

Honey was a native of New Orleans and a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was the first Queen of the Mardi Gras Ball for the Shriners and served as past president of the Ladies Auxiliary Club.

She was an active lifelong member of several Veterans of Foreign War Organizations. Honey retired from the St. Bernard Parish Sewerage and Water Board after 23 years of service.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be private.
