Mrs. Alice Walton, a lifelong resident of Coatesville, died in the Putnam County Hospital, Tuesday afternoon following a serious illness of a week. She had been in poor health for a long time.
She was born in Hendricks County, May 23, 1876 and was married to Charles Walton. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Coatesville.
Last rites will be tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock from the Coatesville Primitive Baptist Church. Friends may call at the residence until the hour of service.
Survivors are the husband, Charles; six children, Olive and Lester of Coatesville; Mrs. Alton Hurst, Greencastle; Mrs. McKinley Snapp, Bowling Green, Kentucky; Forest and Chester of Creswell, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Rose Parks, Englewood, Colorado; three brothers, Thomas Runnells, Cloverdale, Lee Runnells, Minneapolis and Roy Runnells, Santa Ana, California.
