Henry B. Burns, son of Abner M. Burns and Elizabeth Kinnear Burns. Henry was a private in the 4th regiment of the Iowa Infantry, Company D. He was wounded in the Battle of Pea Ridge, fought March 6-8 1862. Film # M541 Roll 4. After the war he engaged in the lumber trade at Des Moines, Iowa.
