Mrs. Belle Mefford, for the greater part of her life a resident of the Hunnewell community, died at the home of her son, Floyd Mefford, at Enid, Okla., last week, to which place she went about two weeks ago.
The remains reached Hunnewell last Wednesday and funeral services were held at the Hunnewell Methodist church Thursday, conducted by the pastor of the First Christian Church, Hannibal, of which she was a member.
Interment was at Hannibal.
She is survived by three sons J.W. and R.R. Mefford of Hannibal, and T.F. of Enid, Okla., and one daughter Mrs. M. Moore of Hannibal. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Meda Futz of the Kendall neighborhood and Mrs. Lulu Kemper of Hannibal.
