She was born in Silke Borg, Denmark, and was married to Johannes Fischer who had a shoe repair business in Blair many years ago.
Survivors include Mrs. Bill (Barbara) Baxter of North Bend, Nebraska; Mrs. Don (Evelyn) Hulst, of Oak Harbor, Washington; and Mrs. Rudy (Shirley) Mohr of Fullerton, California.
She also has 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
