PIONEER COUNTY WOMAN PASSES

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lorentz Hansen, of Herman on last Thursday afternoon, April 10.

Mrs. Hansen was a real pioneer, settling more than a half century ago on the homestead where she passed away.

She leaves six children, L. C. of Herman, K. L. of Powell, Wyo., H. L. of Mullan, Idaho, Mrs. J. F. Poucher, Omaha, Mrs. O. K. Nelson, Chicago, and Mrs. J. E. Hodgekiss of Choteau, Mont.

When the Hansens settled on the farm, Blair was just in its infancy and Herman was not in existence. They often traveled by ox team and wagon to Omaha, their nearest trading point.

Many friends attended the services at the home, testifying to the love and esteem in which she was held by all who knew her.
