Son of Porter Mansur and Margaret Quinn. Was a farmer and Baptist minister. Married 1st Louisa Ann "Annie L" Kincaid on Feb. 23, 1887 in Richmond, Missouri. They had one child, Commodore P. Mansur, who died young. Married 2nd Minnie C. Couch on Aug. 28, 1890 and had four children (Minnie Pearl, Leona, Goldie and James Porter Mansur). Married 3rd Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie" Penny. No issue.

I hereby Certify that I viewed the body on May 17th, 1931. The cause of death is as follows: Shot himself with a Revolver, suicide. Signed: Ben F Tucker (acting corner).
Place of burial: New Hope Cemetery Date: May 19th, 1931. Undertaker: A.W. Mansur, Richmond, MO."
