Services for Fred L. Nelson, 58 of Omaha who died September 19, 1995 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 22 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Fred. L. Nelson was born January 28, 1937 in Tekamah, Nebraska to Kenneth and Grace Hale Nelson.
He graduated from Blair High School in 1954.
He served in the United States Navy from March, 1956 until December, 1957.
He worked for several years in the supply warehouse at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha.
He was a member of the Blair American Legion, Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles and was a past secretary of the Omaha Bowling Association.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and his mother, Grace Nelson Schrum.
He is survived by three children, Diane Nelson of Brock, Nebraska; Brett Nelson of Blair; Patricia Hale of Nebraska City and a granddaughter, Leah Ney of Brock.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
