Edwin Wader Wagaman was born in Carroll County, Missouri 13 August 1878, the son of James Jefferson Wagaman and Hester Emmaline Adams.
He married Eva Myrtle Higgins 15 November 1903 in Harmony Church, east of Milford, Missouri. Eva was born in Dade County, Missouri 18 October 1884, the daughter of Lafayette Bryant and Louisa L. (Taylor) Higgins.
Eva is also a sister of Willa Mae (Higgins) Wagaman, the wife of Ed's brother, James Franklin Wagaman.
Ed farmed for a living all of his life, except for the last few years, when he was a guard at the Missouri State Penitentiary at Jefferson City, Missouri, then a grain inspector at Kansas City.
Ed was active in politics and church work.
