Armand was the son of Alphonse and Emma Emile (Patenaude) Latourneau; Armand married twice; 1st in 1917 to Louise L. Sousa (1898-1928)2nd in 1934 to Gladys May Baron (1908-1990)

Armand J. Latourneau, 54, of 154 Hubbard St. Ludlow, a brother of Selectman Aldie Latourneau and well known for many years as a star semi-pro baseball pitcher, died early Tuesday at his home after a long illness. Born in Clarenceville, P.Q., son of the late Alphonse and Emma(Patenaude) Latourneau, he had lived in Ludlow for 50 years. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Gladys(Barron) Latourneau; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Masterson of Garmisch, Germany; three brothers, Selectman Latourneau of Ludlow, Homer of Springfield and Edward of Pawtucket, R.I., two sisters, Mrs. Alice Ethier of Springfield and Mrs. Beatrice Becker of Palmer, and two grandchildren. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 8:15 at the Ratell funeral home, Indian Orchard, followed by reqiuem high mass at 9 in St. Jean Baptist church. Burial in St. Aloysius cemetery, Indian Orchard.
