Son of Alvin Leonidas Hudiburg and Mamie Rebecca (Hockett) Hudiburg.

Married (1) Inez Christine Morehead in 1936 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Together they were the parents of Roger Hudiburg, twins Don Hudiburg and Ron Hudiburg, and Deanne (Hudiburg) Ketch. Inez died in 1961.

Married (2) Amber N. Bell in 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

"Friday Rites For Hudiburg"

Services for Everett Earl Hudiburg, 77, 307 Donaldson, a retired Stillwater fire chief, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the First Christian Church with Dr. Dan Entwistle and Dr. Joe Stumbaugh officiating.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under direction of the Strode Funeral Home.
Masonic services at the cemetery will be given by Frontier Masonic Lodge No. 48.
The son of Alvin Leonidas and Mamie (Hockett) Hudiburg, he was born Nov. 24, 1909 in Carney. He moved to Stillwater from Carney with his parents as a young child, where he attended Stillwater schools, graduating from Stillwater High School. He also attended Oklahoma State University.
He was with the Stillwater Fire Department from 1934 to 1954, serving as fire chief between 1945 and 1954.
After his retirement in 1954, he worked with the International Fire Service Training Association, which published fire service manuals used worldwide. He served as editor of the organization and wrote "Beside the Still-Water".
He was married to Inez Christine Morehead in 1936 in Stillwater. She died on May 15, 1961. He later married Amber Bell in 1963 in Tulsa.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, where he was a former deacon, and was a past Master of Frontier Masonic Lodge No. 48.
Survivors include his wife, Amber, of the home; three sons, Roger Hudiburg, Boulder, Colo., and twin sons Don Hudiburg of 2116 W. 24th, and Ron Hudiburg, Port Orchard, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Bob (Deanne) Ketch, Rt. 3, Stillwater; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, C.L. Hudiburg, Wilmington, Del., and two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Payne, Miami, Okla., and Mrs. Orilla Mobley, Oklahoma City.
He was predeceased by his first wife, and one grandson, Danny Ketch, on Nov. 25, 1986."
