Peter Cullen, a life long resident of this city and for thirty-three years an employee of the Malleable Iron Range company, died at St. Joseph hospital on Thursday of last week. He had been ill with pneumonia for a week.
He was a son of Christopher Cullen and was born in this city on July 27th, 1863. He had resided at 117 Willow street during his entire lifetime. His marriage to Belle Smith of this city took place on September 20th, 1886. Mrs. Cullen and three of their daughters preceded him in death. The surviving children are Isabelle and Lucille at home, Mrs. John Nehls [sic] of Juneau, Mrs. Frank and Clarence Cullen of this city. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
The funeral services were held at St. Patrick church at nine o'clock Monday morning and were conducted by Rev. Wm. E. Wright. Interment was in St. Patrick cemetery.
