Wayne LaVerne Landon was born on June 16, 1937 in Rockport, Missouri, to Harry and Opal (Lindstrom) Landen. He grew up in Rockport where he graduated from High School in 1955 and Tarkio College in 1959. Wayne married Shirley on April 6, 1991 in Omaha. They have lived in the Lakeland area near Blair.
Over the years Wayne worked at Mutual Of Omaha, Nebraska College of Business and First National Bank of Omaha before retiring in 2001. He was active in his church and served as a Deacon. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping.
