Son of Thomas and Josephine Krieg; born August 10, 1889, St. Marks, Perry County, Ind. Farmer. Entered service May 6, 1918, Cannelton, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.; assigned to Company E, 22nd Engineers. Transferred to Railway Operation Casual Battalion; later to Development Battalion. Died of influenza-pneumonia October 15, 1918, Camp Taylor, Ky., Buried in St. Mark's Cemetery, Perry County, Ind.
