Louis Warren Hill was the second son of James J. Hill, and succeeded him as president of the Great Northern Railway in 1907. In the year 2000 "The Missoulian" newspaper called him the 24th most influential Montanan of the 1900's. They called him the godfather of Glacier National Park. He was married to Maud VanCourtlandt Taylor.
