They had five children together; Gladys Marguerite Heyland (8 Mar 1894-13 Sep 1954), Florence Ella Heyland (14 Oct 1895-19 Apr 1978), Thomas Leslie Heyland (21 Aug 1899-2 May 1919), Ralph Arthur Heyland (2 Jan 1904-4 Apr 1980), and Anita Letitia Heyland (11 Dec 1908-18 Jan 1970).
