Rosa Lee (Shaw) Cowden, age 57, went to be with the Lord at her home on July 19, 2013. She was a member of Hillview Baptist Church for over 30 years and an active member with the WMU.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary Rozella Shaw; sister, Shirley Russell Cooper; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Virginia Cowden; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Betty Cowden; nephew, Donald Glenn Cowden II.
Survivors include husband of 37 years, Ronald Cowden; daughter, Tara Cowden; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Mike Boudreau; son and daughter-in-law Ronnie and Crystal Cowden; 1 granddaughter; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Tim Shaw; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Tom Everett.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 21, 2013, at 8 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Funeral and Cremation with the Rev. Greg Long and Rev. Gerald Jones officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013, at Grandview Cemetery.
