Mrs. Jenetta Cobb of Chicago died at 11:45 a.m. today at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. David Mather in west Green street. She was an aunt of Mrs. Mather and came here February 12th to visit her. She was taken ill with the grip and it developed into paralysis, causing her death. She had been in a critical condition for two weeks. She was eight-three years of age and besides Mrs. Mather is survived by several relatives in Leroy and two granddaughters, Mrs. I. G. Miers of Lewiston, N. Y., and Mrs. M. T. Snell of Chicago. The latter will arrive here tomorrow to make arrangements for the funeral and burial.

---The funeral of Mrs. Jeannette Cobb, who died Wednesday morning at the home of her neice[sic], Mrs. David Mather, on West Green st, will take place Friday morning at nine o'clock at the Mather residence, in charge of Rev. A. A. Geiger. The remains will be taken to East Leroy for burial.
---Mrs. Cobb was born in the state of New Jersey in November, 1826. Most of her lift[sic] had been spent in the state of New York, howev,er,[sic] and upon the deaht[sic] of her husband to whom she was married but ten years, she made her home with her granddaughters, Mrs. Ira G. Myers of Lewiston, N.Y., and Mrs. T. N. Snell of Chicago, living with the latter during the past three years. She came to Marshall three months ago to visit her niece when she was stricken with paralysis, which finally caused her death.
