Miss Billy Bernice Cooper, 64, a well-known poetess, died thesday, Mar. 6 at Wilson County Hospital after being bedfast for 15 years.
She had made her home since 1947 with a friend, Miss Mary Lou Cuttle, who survives at the home at 412 S. 8th Street.
It was Miss Cooper's wish to donate her body to the KU Medical Center for the research of Multiple Sclerosis.
