He was born Jan 28, 1900, near Millersburg to W. H. and Rosa Fish Cheney.
He is survived by a daughter, Ruth Ann Worth of Milton; six grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth of Deep River; and three sisters, Edith Stoker of Grinnell, Evelyn Wanous of Collinsville, Ill; and Velma Fascella of Daytona Beach, FL.
A graveside service was held Wednesday at Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton, the Rev. Charles Butler officiating.
Memorial may be made to the Milton Library.
