HOCKING - In Riverside, Calif., November 7, 1940, John William Hocking, aged 88 years. Beloved husband of Mrs. Margaret Hocking of 3644 Ramona Drive, Riverside, Calif. Father of Charles Hocking of Friend and William Hocking of Alliance, Nebraska, Jesse Hocking of Ingalls, Kansas, Mrs. Pearl Fluitt of Booker, Texas, Mrs. Grace Richards of San Diego, John and Harry Hocking of Riverside and Orville Hocking of Arcadia, Calif. Brother of Mrs. Lydia Robbins of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Dilly Givens of Arapahoe, Oklahoma. Also survived by his 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Acheson and Graham, Inc. on Tuesday, Novebmer 12th, at 2 P.M. Rev. Stanley S. McKee, officiating. Interment Olivewood Cemetery.
