Born in Vichy, France, she was a Swedish figure skater three months pregnant, when she competed at the 1920 Olympics Antwerp, Belgium and won the Gold Medal in the ladies' singles event. She also won the Swedish Championships (1911, 1916, 1918) and Nordic Championships (1917, 1919, 1921). At the age of 90 she could still be seen skating at the public open air ice rink in central Stockholm, Sweden. She died at age 96 in Nacka, Stockholm, Sweden. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
