Mrs. Roberts was born March 14,1921 in Gilmer county, the daughter of the late Charles and Rintha Sorrells Holt. She was graduate of the Atlanta Business School, she worked as an accountant for Westinghouse for many years and later worked for Crouches Department Store in Griffin. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Griffin, GA , were she served as song leader and Sunday School teacher for many years was a member of the WMU and AMBUCKS Auxiliary. After the death of her husband J.W. Roberts, she moved to Ellijay.
