US Marine PFC James Otis Taylor, Vietnam Veteran and resident of St Louis, Missouri.
US Marine Private First Class James Otis Taylor was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps, PFC Taylor served our country until March 6th, 1968 in Quang Tri, South Vietnam. He was 18 years old and was married. James died when his plane crashed at Khe Sahn. His body was recovered. James was born on November 9th, 1949 in Paducah, Kentucky. PFC Taylor is on panel 43E, line 036 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
PFC James Otis Taylor served as a Private First Class with 2nd Battalion, 26th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Amphibious Forces, United States Marine Corps, Vietnam.
He was awarded The Combat Action Ribbon(CAR), The Purple Heart Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Vietnam Campaign Medal and The Vietnamese Gallantry Cross Unit Citation.
