Ethel Willsey To Be Buried In Blair

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 28, at 10 a.m. at the Congregational Church in Blair for Ethel Frances Willsey, age 90, who died October 25, 1980, in the Blair Hospital. Rev. John Fritzmeier will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Ethel Frances Willsey was born on January 19, 1890, in Linwood, Nebraska, to Edward R. and Estelle Diefendorf Stewart. She was married to Franklin Willsey, who preceded her in death. She was a school teacher.

She is survived by four nieces, Mrs. Jack Varley, Blair; Janet Hurd, Arizona; Jean Colborn, Tennessee; Marianna Berkley, Virginia; and one nephew, Jon Stewart, Blair.

Bette Kirk is the organist for the services.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.

Funeral services were Tuesday, October 28, at 10 a.m. at the Congregational Church in Blair for Ethel Frances Willsey, age 90, who died October 25, 1980, in the Blair Hospital after many years of declining health. Rev. John Fritzmeier conducted the services. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
Ethel Frances Willsey was born on January 19, 1890, in Linwood, Nebraska, to Dr. Edward R. and Estelle Diefendorf Stewart. She was married to Franklin Willsey, September 28, 1971; 11 months later he preceded her in death.
She was a school teacher and taught in the Blair area and then in Omaha until her retirement. She also taught Sunday School.
Eight years ago, she went to live at Crowell Home. While she was able, she enjoyed traveling, playing the piano, music and reading.
She is survived by four nieces, Mrs. Jack Varley, Blair; Janet Hurd, Arizona; Jean Colborn, Tennessee; Marianna Berkley, Virginia; and one nephew, Jon Stewart, Blair.
Bette Kirk was the organist for the services.
Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
