Lavinia E. (Song) Hughes was married to Morgan Hughes on December 19, 1867 in Kane Co., IL. They were the parents of four children, Estella, Frank, Albert T. and Lavinia Hughes. She was the daughter of Heinrich and Wilhelmina Greve.Her husband, Morgan Hughes, was at the first battle of Gettysburg. He was a bugler and blew the charge notes to start that first battle.
