PITTSFIELD - Ralph W. Streeter, 88, formerly of Grochmal St., Springfield, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Hillcrest Commons Nursing Home in Pittsfield. Ralph was born in Springfield on May 14, 1924 to the late Ralph L. and Anna (Stott) Streeter. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Springfield Technical High School. He later trained as an engineering draftsman and worked freelance in that capacity for most of his career. Ralph served with the US Army during World War II in the 353rd Infantry Regiment. Ralph is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Barbara Streeter Cuiffo of Bronxville, NY. He was predeceased by his brothers, Russell and Harold, and his sister, Pauline. His funeral will be held on Friday, April 19th at 11 AM at Dickinson-Streeter Funeral Home, 305 State St., Springfield. Burial will be in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
