Funeral services will be held at the Virgil T. Golden Chapel Saturday at 1:30 p.m. for Guy Miles, 57, Salem contractor, killed Tuesday when his truck plunged over an embankment near Prineville.
The Rev. W. Harold Lyman and the Rev. Don Stram will officiate at the service. Interment will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
Miles, whose home was on Skyline Road southwest of Salem on Rt. 4, Box 73, came to Salem from Silverton in 1952. He had lived there since 1943.
He was born May 31, 1904, at Centralia, Okla., and came to Oregon from Boulder, Colo. Surviving are the widow Irene Miles, employe (sic) of the Salem recorder's office; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Knutson, Silverton, Mrs. Leila Miller, Dallas, Mrs. Margie Morey (sic) and Miss Barbara Miles, Salem; a son, Roy Miles, Silverton; two sisters and a brother in Oklahoma; and 13 grandchildren.
