Born January 17, 1927, in Metter, GA, she was the daughter of the late Leon Cooper White and Cora (Clifton) White.
A graduate of Metter (GA) High School, she was the retired owner and operator of Nell's Interiors and formerly owned Miller's Gift Shop. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, ASID, and a former Jayceette.
Survivors include two sons, E. Lewis Miller, Jr. and his wife Marie A. Miller of Spartanburg, and Terry S. Miller of Greensboro, NC; two grandsons, Benjamin Lewis Miller and Andrew James Miller, both of Spartanburg; two granddaughters, Marion Michelle Jones of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Kimberly Cox Jones of Spartanburg; four sisters, Louise Gravely of Pickens, SC, Evelyn Arnold, Dorothy DeBerry, and Marie Manley, all of Spartanburg; and two brothers, Lee White and Inman White, both of Florida.
Visitation was 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Becky Capps.
