Lottie C. Jester (Mama), age 93, of Hot Springs, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 11, 2013.

She was born on August 19, 1919 at Alpine, the daughter of Garland R. Huggs and Nora Shepard Huggs. On March 19, 1938, she was married to John Jester who preceded her in death on July 14, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Linda J. Jester; her brother, W.L. Davis; and her sister, Mildred Bailey.

Mama was a housewife and worked side by side with Papa in the antique and whet stone business, traveling 48 states. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church for 52 years. She loved to cook, travel in the RV, camp, fish, and shop. Mama loved her family, she and Papa could not rest until they called, and knew that everyone was home safe for the evening. They cherished their "bojacks"(grandchildren) and sat through many football, baseball, basketball and softball games, enjoying every moment. She was a very classy lady and you were always made to feel very comfortable and were treated like a special guest at her house.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Toni Jester of Blanchard, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and Doyle Garner of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, Danny Garner, Todd Garner, Toni Jester Carpenter, Mike Jester, and Kim Garner Rockwell; ten great-grandchildren, Kayla Garner, Garrett Garner, Tyler Carpenter, Cori Carpenter, Drake Jester, Hunter Jester, Mackenzie Garner, Brady Garner, Eric Rockwell, and Libby Rockwell; two sisters, Estelene Hardin of Mount Pleasant, Texas and Kathleen Nelson of Pampa, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the First Assembly of God, Hot Springs, with Rev. Larry Burton officiating.

Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday evening.

Pallbearers will be Danny Garner, Todd Garner, Mike Jester, Scott Carpenter, David Rockwell, Garrett Garner, Drake Jester, and Hunter Jester.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Timothy English and the nurses of Arkansas Hospice Inpatient Unit.
