Frederick Ensign (Fred) Ayers, son of Peiter and Phoebe Church Ayers, married Laura Mary LeFevre Goodness 2 Aug 1920 in Pownal, Rutland, VT. He was first married to Ida M Goodness and they had a daughter Alice born around 1916-17.
Fred and Ida had lived in White Creek, Washington, New York in Jan of 1920. In 1930 Fred and Aurora Goodness-Ayers were in Cambridge, Washington, NY with a family of three, Howard Goodness-Ayers 16, Helen Mae Goodness-Ayers 15 and George Ayers 8, the first two, children of Ira Goodness and Laura Mary/Aurora Marie LaFever.
Fred's father Dr Peter Ayers was married second to Georgina Blount and they had a son, Arthur Ayers. Peter and Phoebe also had a son Gorge D., and a son William.
