Wichita. Born Clara Marie Stieben Aug. 27,
1909 at Bazine, she married Fred Rein June
16, 1929 at Bazine.
She was a lifetime area resident.
She was a member of United Methodist
Church, United Methodist Women, Mary
Circle, all of Bazine.
Survivors: widower; sons: Cletus, Leland, both
of Bazine; Valis, Abilene; daughters: Mrs. Ted
Boos, Rush Center; Mrs. Clarence
Gumesheimer, Ness City; brothers; Lloyd
Stieben, Kelso, Wash.; Carl Stieben,
Bazine; sisters: Mrs. Elma Byfield, Bazine;
Mrs. Viola Wolfe, Mrs. Elnora Yeager,
both of Ness City; Mrs. Leona Schlegel,
Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. LaVone Schweitzer,
Hays; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the church;
the Rev. Burton Holmes. Burial in Bazine
Cemetery. Family suggests memorials to the
church in care of Fitzgerald's Funeral
