Mrs. Elizabeth East Clark, age 91 of the Dry Hill Community in Rockwood passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side.
Elizabeth was a Member of Mt. Teman Baptist Church. She was retired from Burlington Hosiery Mill in Rockwood. Elizabeth was born and raised in the Eureka Community of Rockwood of which she dearly loved. Above all she was a Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Friend to all who knew her and came in contact with her along Life’s Journey.
She is preceded in death by Husband: Walter L. Clark of which she was married to for 55 years; She was the last surviving sibling of a Blended Family of 14 Brothers and Sisters born unto Columbus and Maude East.
She is survived by Son: Walter Charles Clark (Alice) of Rockwood (Dry Hill Community). Daughters: Evelyn Nelson (Steve) of Dry Hill Community, Joetta Boston (Randy) of Dry Hill Community, 9 Grandchildren: Angie Givens (Wade), Brent Nelson (Misty), Missy Mathis (Chris), Chrissy Massengill (Eric), Leslie Clark (Aaron), Jennifer Collins (Chad), Maranda Summers (Adam), Bryan Boston (Stacy) and Curt Boston (Shelbi). 15 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Many Friends in the Dry Hill Community of where she lived and call Home.
Arrangements are as Follows: Tuesday, October 25, 2016, The Family will Receive Friends from 1:30pm to 3:00pm at the Mt Teman Baptist Church, 2153 Dry Hill Road in Rockwood, Tennessee.
Funeral will follow at 3:00pm with Dr. Walt Schuckert, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Teman Baptist Church Cemetery.
