She was 18 when she notably became the second wife of screen legend Errol Flynn. She later married Big Band singer Dick Haymes, and after their divorce, Richard Black. The daughter of Assistant Los Angeles County Sheriff Jack Eddington, she had been working at the county courthouse during Flynn's notorious 1943 trial for rape when she caught the star's eye, and he wed her within the year. Two daughters were born to the couple during their 6-year union, and she was memorably featured in the final scene of her husband's 1949 film, "The Adventures of Don Juan". Known as a wise, warm, and gracious woman, she remained on good terms with Flynn until his death in 1959. Her book "Errol and Me", published in 1960, is an account of their bittersweet relationship. She died at 74 after a long battle with kidney disease. (bio by: Nikita Barlow) Family links: Children: Kevin Francis Black (1965 - 1976)* *Calculated relationship
