Mrs. Kelister A. Brockman.
Mrs. Kelister A. Brockman of Pardee died very suddenly last Thursday morning at half past four of heart failure. Although not having had good health for two years her death came as a great shock to her family and friends as her health for a short time previous to her death had improved. Mrs. Brockman was a sister of Dr. P. R. Moore of Pardee. She was born in 1848 in Adams county, Illinois. She was married to Job Brockman in 1871 and two years later they came to Kansas settling near Pardee where they have since made their home. They were the parents of three children, Mrs. Mary Higley, Thomas and Roy Brockman. Her mother, 79 years of age is still living. The funeral services were held at the residence Friday at two o'clock and the the remains were interred in Pardee cemetery.
