Dorothy Spreckels Munn, the granddaughter of the San Francisco sugar baron and a longtime Pacific Heights hostess, died January 20 of congestive heart failure at her home in Palm Beach, Fla..
Mrs. Munn, 86, had lived in Florida since the mid-1980s. She was the last family member to reside at the famed Spreckels mansion on Washington Street in San Francisco's Pacific Heights.
A native of San Francisco, Mrs. Munn was the daughter of Adolph Bernard Spreckels and his flamboyant wife, Alma, and the granddaughter of sugar company founder Claus Spreckels. She was a graduate of the Hamlin School in San Francisco.

In 1985, she left the San Francisco mansion that she had lived in for 72 years and moved with her husband [?] to Palm Beach.
