She graduated from Matthew W. Gilbert Class of 1953. She retired from Duval County School System after 40 years of dedicated service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clemons; mother, Helen Cooker Sparks Jones; father, Evins Price; brother, Eugene Price; sister, Priscilla Price. Those who will continue to celebrate her life includes her loving daughter, Lattye Yvonne (Tony) Sullivan; Step-daughter, Mary (Keith) Wilson; Step-sons, Henry N. Clemons, Dennis Clemons; Cherished grand-son, Brandon D. Bryant; grand-daughters, Jermia Yvonne Holt, Triniti MiJoi Williams; Sisters, Barbara Jean Ford, Minnie Bradley, Molly (Harold) Kenner; Brothers, Evans Bobby (Margaret) Price, Robert Price, Kevin Price, Horace Price, Harris Price, a host of nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, sister in laws, other relatives and many friends.
Home going service will be held Sat, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at the New Fountain Chapel A.M.E. Church, 737 Jessie St. Jacksonville, with Rev. Louis C. Kirkland, Pastor, Officiating. The family viewing for the late Mrs. Helen Price Clemons will take place on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 4:00 - 5:00 pm at The New Fountain Chapel A.M.E. Church afterwards the Family will then receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Edgewood Cemetery.
