Barbara Brakstad was born in Robbinsdale, Minn., the eighth of twelve children. She moved to Richmond, Calif., in 1953, where she met her one and only true love, Marvin Rebischke. They raised their family in Pinole, Calif., for over 40 years. Barbara's interests ranged from involvement in her children's PTA to volunteering for various organizations to enjoying her time as a Woman of the Moose Lodge. Barbara and Marvin enjoyed retirement for the past 10 years in Clearlake.
Barbara will be greatly missed by those who were so fortunate to have touched her life.
