73rd Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment.

Aged 26.
Son of Cornelius and Mary Lehane of Macroom, County Cork.
His birth was registered in Q4, 1915, in Fermoy district.

He was killed at St Margaret's, Dover, when a shell hit a trench on 9 November 1942. He and 10 colleagues were killed.

Report of cause of death:
Whilst on active service at Dover and manning an anti-aircraft gun, the gun emplacement took a direct hit by a shell fired by the Germans in France. He and his colleagues were killed instantly.
