Born Oct. 24, 1933 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Osvan Lee and Mary Camilla Cooper. Mrs. Summers worked for many years in the electronics industry as an assembler and as a quality control inspector. She loved camping and the outdoors, painting miniature figurines, playing cards and bingo, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by seven children, James W. Hinerman & wife Ann, Charles E. Hinerman & wife Wanda, Richard D. Hinerman, Bonnie L. Long & husband Dean, Linda M. Poole & husband Michael, Sheila D. Oldach & husband James, and Christina L. Russell & husband Tom; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gertrude McFarland, and by a grandson, John W. Guassardo.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM on Friday, April 12th at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. Route 15 N in Frederick, MD, where a funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 13th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the FMH Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, 400 West 7th St., Frederick, MD 21701.
