Madeleine Emilienne Hudon was the daughter of Alice and Leo Hudon of Montreal. As a young woman, Madeleine worked at the Sun Life Assurance Company with her identical twin sister, Marcelle Antoinette Hudon. There, Reginald Owen Molson, a member of the famous Molson Family, wooed and won Madeleine's hand in marriage. The couple had one son, Robert Molson, and traveled extensively in Europe, Australia, and the United States before making Vancouver their home.
