Edgar was son of John Coleman and Eda Martin-Cunningham. He was husband of Nell Winsett.

Edgar Cunningham Dies Saturday


Edgar Cunningham, 83, of 310 West 6th street, died in Risser hospital at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 1920. He had been in declining health for some time, and had been in the hospital since Tuesday.


Funeral services with Wise Funeral Home in charge are incomplete pending the return of a son from the West Coast.


Mr. Cunningham was a retired pharmacist, having quit work some three years ago.


While active as a pharmacist, Mr. Cunningham was employed by drug stores in Bonham and throughout the North Texas area.


He was a native of Tennessee, but lived near Petty for many years before moving to Bonham in the early 1940s.


Survivors are two sons, Edward W. Cunningham of Bonham, John Cunningham of Bruton, Ala., and five grandchildren.


He was a member of the First Methodist church.
