Fatality in Four Days
The third auto-accident fatality to occur in Greene County in four days' time claimed the life of Jesse M. Rush, aged 88 years, father-in-law of President Paul R. Stewart of Waynesburg College, Saturday afternoon just in front of his home on the Waynesburg-Spraggs highway, near the village of Spraggs.
Mr. Rush was born near Kniceley's school in Wayne Township December 26, 1847, a son of Jesse and Susan Duvall Rush. He had been a resident of Spraggs for the past 50 years and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Harriett Rush; two children, Mrs. Paul R. Stewart, of Waynesburg, and Floyd D. Rush, of Spraggs; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was the last of a family of seven.
