Eugene Fisackerly

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Elaine, Mississippi, Baptist Church for Mr. Eugene Fisackerly, 77, Mr. Fisackerly, who was born in Montgomery County, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ethel Berry Fisackerly; one son, Charles Berry Fisackerly of Blaine: one brother, Robert Fisackerly of Yazoo City; one sister, Mrs. Mamie F. Reeves of Columbus; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He died at his residence after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Fisackerly attended Kilmichael Boarding School. He married Ethel Berry in 1916 in Kilmichael and they moved to Blaine where he was engaged in farming until his illness. He is a former Director of the Mississippi Chemical Corp., former director of the Yazoo Valley Oil Mill, Director of the Bank of Ruelville, Director of North Delta Compress and Warehouse Corp. and Past President' of the Southern Ginners Association. He was a member of the Blaine United Methodist Church.

Interment was in the Ruleville Cemetery with Rev. M. L. Prewitt and Rev. Allen Bailey officiating.

Pallbearers were P. K. McGregor, Jr., John H. Dodd, Elvie Neal, E. G. Turner, A. J. Bush, and George Clifford, Sr.
