Belgian Stage, Screen and Television Actor. He was the son of motion picture director Claude Volter. He was born in Uccle (Bruxelles) and died in Paris. He is best known for his films "Le Maître de Musique" (1988), "Cyrano de Bergerac" (1990), "La Double Vie de Véronique" (1991), "Trois Couleurs: Bleu" (1993), and "The Five Senses" (1999). On Television, he appeared in "Madame Sans-Gêne" and "Napoleon." His last film was "Les Gens Honnêttes Vivent en France" (2005). (bio by: José L Bernabé Tronchoni)
