"The funeral for Mildred B. Lehenbauer, 84, will be 10 a.m. Friday in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Ames Cemetery.
"She was born June 10, 1917, southeast of Ames, to Earl and Ethel Gibson Crawford and died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, Enid.
"She graduated from Ames High School and Draughns Business School in Oklahoma City. On Dec. 21, 1936, she married Buster Lehenbauer in Purcell. She was a member of Salem Methodist Church at Drummond.
"Surviving are three daughters, Pat Gregory of Drummond, Karen Hayes of Ames and Leticia Morris of Tulia, Texas; three sons, Doyle of Ringwood, Ronny of Waukomis and Steve of Denton, Texas; one sister, Marjorie Holston of Jennings, La., 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
"She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993, two great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters. Memorials may be made to Ames Fire Department."
