She had the misfortune of coming across Myra Hindley and Ian Brady the infamous 'Moors Murderers' She was aquainted with Hindley and thought nothing of going to help her look for a glove she had lost on Saddleworth Moor. Once there she was assaulted by Brady and buried in a shallow grave, where her body lay undiscovered for over 20 years. In June 1987 Hindley was taken out of prison to the moors where she tried to help police locate missing victims. Pauline's body had finally been found and could be laid to rest Both Hindley and Brady were sentenced to life. (bio by: Lisa)
