The funeral services for the late Dr. Charles R. Lee were held at his home on South First street on Thursday and were largely attended. The floral offerings were unusually fine. As a tribute of respect, all the business houses of the city closed during the funeral services. Interment was made in the Lee masoleum in Mt. Adnah cemetery. Members of the board of directors of the bank were honorary bearers, Active bearers were officers and directors at the bank. He is survived by two sisters, Miss S. Elizabeth Lee and Mrs. Bertha Lee Royce, both of whom resided with their brother; also one niece, Mrs. Florence Lee Biggs of Toronto, Canada Charles Rowe Lee was born in Phoenix April 15th, 1856, the son of Elizabeth and Charles M. Lee, and the family moved to Fulton in 1862. He attended Fulton High school and Falley seminary, and later went to New York city, where he attended the College of Physicians and Surgeons and was graduated in 1875, at the age of 19 years the youngest member of the class. On the 17th of May 1893, he married Miss Eva Dale Case, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Case. Mrs. Lee died April 26th, 1915. In October, 1893, Dr. Lee was stricken and lost the use of his limbs, having to travel in a wheelchair, but with an indomitable spirit 'he carried on."
